Past Simple – Completa con la forma correcta del verbo

Hi everyone! Hola a todos. My name is Mr. Pea y juntos vamos a aprender a hablar en inglés. Hoy vamos a practicar el past simple con un ejercicio. ¿Estáis preparadas y preparados? Here we go!

👉 Completa cada frase con la forma correcta del verbo en past simple.

   👉 ⚠️ (study → studied, cambia “y” por “i” + ed)

2. My brother ______ (go) to the party last night.
   ✅ My brother went to the party last night.
   👉 ⚠️ (go → went, irregular)

3. They ______ (not / understand) the question.
   ✅ They did not understand the question.
   👉 ⚠️ En negativa usamos did not + verbo base

4. We ______ (have) dinner at 9 p.m.
   ✅ We had dinner at 9 p.m.
   👉 (have → had, irregular)

5. My parents ______ (buy) a new car last year.
   ✅ My parents bought a new car last year.
   👉 (buy → bought)

6. He ______ (make) a mistake in the exam.
   ✅ He made a mistake in the exam.
   👉 ⚠️ (make → made, irregular)

7. I ______ (see) that movie two days ago.
   ✅ I saw that movie two days ago.
   👉 (see → saw)

8. My friend ______ (not / go) to work yesterday.
   ✅ My friend did not go to work yesterday.
   👉 ⚠️ Negativa → usamos did not + verbo base

9. ______ she ______ (finish) her homework before dinner?
   ✅ Did she finish her homework before dinner?
   👉 ⚠️ En preguntas usamos Did + sujeto + verbo base (sin pasado)

10. She ______ (take) a taxi this morning.
    ✅ She took a taxi this morning.
    👉 (take → took)
