Hi everyone! Hola a todos. My name is Mr. Pea y juntos vamos a aprender a hablar en inglés.

Hoy vamos a practicar los pronombres personales en inglés. ¿Estáis preparadas y preparados? Here we go!

👉 Completa cada frase con el pronombre correcto:

1. Maria is my best friend. ____ lives next door.

✅ Maria is my best friend. She lives next door.

👉 Maria es un nombre femenino y singular, por lo que debemos utilizar she.

2. My brother is a doctor. ____ works at the hospital.

✅ My brother is a doctor. He works at the hospital.

👉 Brother hace referencia a un nombre masculino y singular. Por eso utilizamos he.

3. My parents are at home. ____ are watching TV.

✅ My parents are at home. They are watching TV.

👉 My parents hace referencia a dos personas y, por tanto, es plural. Utilizamos they.

4. My sister and I love animals. ____ have two dogs.

✅ My sister and I love animals. We have two dogs.

👉 Aquí tenemos my sister and I, es decir, "mi hermana y yo". Como la persona que habla está incluida, utilizamos we.

5. Look at that car! ____ is very expensive.

✅ Look at that car! It is very expensive.

👉 Car es una cosa y está en singular. Para sustituir un objeto singular utilizamos normalmente it.

6. Tom and Sarah are students. ____ study English every day.

✅ Tom and Sarah are students. They study English every day.

👉 Tom and Sarah son dos personas, por lo que necesitamos un pronombre plural: they.

7. My new computer is very fast. ____ starts in just a few seconds.

👉 Computer es una cosa y está en singular. Para sustituir un objeto singular utilizamos it.

8. John and I are preparing for the exam. ____ are studying together.

✅ John and I are preparing for the exam. We are studying together.

👉 John and I incluye a la persona que habla. Por eso utilizamos we, que significa "nosotros" o "nosotras".

👉 Children es un sustantivo plural. Aunque no termine en -s, significa "niños" y es plural. Por eso utilizamos they.

👉 My sister and her friends hace referencia a varias personas y no incluye a la persona que habla. Por eso utilizamos they.
